Which are the government institutes offering animation course? Why is it that there are such few institutes offering animation courses?

Hello, There are a number of government institutes offering animation courses. However, I agree that the number of these colleges are far less in number than colleges for mainstream courses. This is mostly attributed to the fact that the number of students interested in this field is quite less. It is also attributed to the fact based on the number of students who get a decent job on completion of the course. Also, it does take an enormous cost to set up the infrastructure required to impart education on Animation. All these factors are taken into consideration before launching an institute on Animation.
