Which are the top colleges in India to pursue B.Sc in agriculture?

In my opinion, Lovely Professional University is one of the best for B.Sc. In agriculture. Here, I am highlighting some features: 1. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. 2. The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Ph.D 3. LPU has become a brand across the globe. It has various national and international tie-ups. 4. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. Students here are given the opportunity to work on the live projects. 5. University provides additional professional enhancement classes as part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams. LPU excels in terms of placement as well. Students of agriculture are availing a good amount of packages from the recruiters. Hi B.Sc Agriculture needs a college with the accreditation of ICAR. The name that comes to me first is LPU which carefully nurtures its students and propels them to the pinnacle of success so that their hard work culminates to a point which would be the cause of envy of many. ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) is an accreditation from the Central ministry of India related to study of agriculture which is given to those universities who are the best for this field means, if a university have all the resources in terms of labs, fields, well qualified and experienced staff and faculty, hi Tech labs, research background etc. Then this affiliation is given to only that university. It is very difficult for a university to meet the standards of ICAR. LPU is the first private university to be granted The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) accreditation by Ministry of Agriculture due to their excellency in the study of agriculture. Doing any course related to agriculture from ICAR accredited means you have all the skills and you are aware of all the tools and methods required for agriculture. This will help you for your career in private and government sector. So, dear student this the importance of ICAR. LPU meets the standard of ICAR. (H) Agri but I will advice you to join LPU as Lovely Professional University is India's first private University to get ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) by Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. Hi dear, I must say you are searching for the sensational and trendy course of the present day world scenario. For Masters in Agriculture in North India only few Names are coming to my Mind which would be good for you as far as Placements concern or the curriculum concern. Those Institutes are as follows: CCSHAU: Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. PAU: Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana. LPU: Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab. Apart from LPU both the above universities are public funded universities and under the jurisdiction of Government. I must tell you that I personally found LPU as good as these other aforesaid choices. LPU has become first private University of India who is Accredited from ICAR: The Indian Council of Agricultural Research. Thus, the value of the degree from PAU or LPU is one of the same thing In fact placements of LPU is as good as both the other options. Now coming to the Curricula: I really liked the Curriculum Development research (CDR) practice of LPU which they do after every 6 months. The purpose of doing this CDR is to make their Curricula updated according to the demand of the present Agriculture based Industry. They do Practical oriented study in the fields to produce not only organic and nutrient enrich Flaura but to teach their students in a very advanced way. FEE structure / scholarship of LPU also depends on the performance of the candidate in their previous qualifying exam and the performance in LPU NEST. LPU has certain eligibility criteria also: a candidate must have 60% aggregate marks UG Agriculture (Hons. ). (4 years) or equivalent and candidate has to qualify LPU NEST.
