Hi, There are many colleges/universities but I will suggest you go for Lovely Professional University (LPU) as it provides quality education. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Ph. This and provide full support to the students. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. If I talk about placements, University provides separate placement oriented classes, and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etc. Etera as part of the curriculum to prepare the students. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms. Thanks.

Identify a college which is ICAR accredited. I will recommend LPU as it is India's first private University to get ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) by Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. Apart from B.Sc. (Hons) agriculture the courses such as M.Sc. Ag. (Genetics & Plant Breeding), M.Sc. Ag. (Agronomy) and M.Sc. Ag. Horticulture (Fruit Science) programmes are also accredited to ICAR. LPU has over the years made a big name for itself on back of unmatched performance in developing industry consulted curriculum, software and technology trainings, massive state of the art infrastructure and placements. The course offered by different departments (theoretical and practical) is taught to the students on credit basis. Bachelor of Science in Agriculture also includes on farm RAWE (Rural Agriculture Work Experience) training and hands on experimental developing confidence in the graduating students of Agriculture.

Hi dear, I must say you are searching for the sensational and trendy course of the present day world scenario. For Masters in Agriculture in North India only few Names are coming to my Mind which would be good for you as far as Placements concern or the curriculum concern. Those Institutes are as follows: CCSHAU: Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. PAU: Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana. LPU: Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab. Apart from LPU both the above universities are public funded universities and under the jurisdiction of Government. I must tell you that I personally found LPU as good as these other aforesaid choices. LPU has become first private University of India who is Accredited from ICAR: The Indian Council of Agricultural Research. Thus, the value of the degree from PAU or LPU is one of the same thing In fact placements of LPU is as good as both the other options. Now coming to the Curricula: I really liked the Curriculum Development research (CDR) practice of LPU which they do after every 6 months. The purpose of doing this CDR is to make their Curricula updated according to the demand of the present Agriculture based Industry. They do Practical oriented study in the fields to produce not only organic and nutrient enrich Flaura but to teach their students in a very advanced way. FEE structure / scholarship of LPU also depends on the performance of the candidate in their previous qualifying exam and the performance in LPU NEST. LPU has certain eligibility criteria also: a candidate must have 60% aggregate marks UG Agriculture (Hons. ). (4 years) or equivalent and candidate has to qualify LPU NEST.
