    You have to complete Diploma in the same field that you choose to join for Lateral entry B.Tech. You should have completed 3 year Diploma. Few colleges ask for A total of 60% for the eligibility. The top colleges for B.Tech lateral entry are:

    IITs and NITs don't provide lateral entries. State level universities do have this option. You can try for such universities in your state.
