    Those who have completed three years recognised Polytechnic Diploma and have cleared state level lateral entry admission test can seek admission through lateral entry scheme to third semester of a B Tech programme at government aided, self financing and private aided colleges in the state.

    Hi,
    In Uttarakhand, the exams name for lateral is UKSEE in Delhi, Indraprasth University conduct exam of lateral entry. In Uttar Pradesh also, LEET exam is conducted every year. Moreover, some universities also conduct their own entrance exam for lateral entry. You can also apply in VIT whose exam form last date is June.

    Students who have completed their 3 years Diploma programme after class 10th can skip the first year and join second-year B.E/B.Tech programs with the help of exams or counseling conducted by state technical admission.

    You can pursue B.Tech (directly joined in the B.Tech 2nd year) through lateral entry in engineering programme (LEEP-2017) in civil engineering from RTU, Kotak (Rajasthan). Please visit:
