There are many private colleges in UPTU, which provides lateral entry in B.Tech. Some of them are JSS, Ajay Kumar Garg, ABES Engineering College, Galgotias University, IMS-Ghaziabad, RKGIT, BBD-Lucknow, Shri Ramswaroop Memorial-Lucknow. If you want to go with government colleges, then you can try in Madan Mohan Malviya, which is situated in Gorakhpur. You may also apply in Thapar University by giving an exam of lateral entry.

    Dear Rahul,
You can take admission in engineering in Rajasthan through REAP counselling that is going on this time. There are certain colleges in Rajasthan like Manipal University, LNMIT, Anand International College of Engineering, Jaipur, etc. that are performing outstanding in placements, good academics, etc.
    All the best.

If you have completed your Diploma then you can directly take admission in B.Tech (any branch). But specifically, if you are searching in a particular state then you have to go for the examinations that are conducted by the concerned university of that particular state. For e. g. : If you are interested in taking admission in Uttarakhand then you have to through the exams conducted by UTU (Uttarakhand Technical University) for lateral entry in any engineering college.

LEET exam conducted every year in Uttar Pradesh for government college. Else, if you want to go for private colleges, then they used to conduct their own entrance exam. So, you can apply for same by visiting their website.
