Which are the various categories on which LPU offer scholarship?

LPU offers scholarships in the various categories:- The first and foremost category is that a student can avail of the scholarship based on his/her previous qualification or previous to the previous qualification which should be a minimum of 70 percent. For instance, if a student is applying for a bachelor's degree, LPU will be considering the 12th mark or 10th mark whichever will be higher. LPU conducts a Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test LPU NEST based on which student can enhance their scholarship. Some national level tests like JEE Mains, NATA NEET UCEED CAT XAT MAT CMAT NMAT GPAT GATE, etc. Performance-based on sports, cultural or co-curricular activities. Board Toppers For Orphan students or people with certain disabilities Defense personnel and central armed police forces (CAPF) dependents. From all the above-mentioned whichever is higher will be applicable. Therefore, there is the majority of students who avail of the scholarship benefits.

LPU offers many scholarships on various parameters and one of them is based on your performance in LPU NEST. In some courses LPU NEST is mandatory but in others it is for scholarships. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: 1. Eligibility Qualification The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification. 2. Certain National Level Tests (like JEE Main NEET UCEED CAT MAT GATE GPAT etc. ) 3. LPU NEST. (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test) 4. Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards 5. Special Scholarships and/or Fee Concessions for Ph.D. Applicants (Scholarship phases as mentioned below are not applicable) Defense and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel and their dependents Toppers of Education Board Scholarship for Orphan Applicants Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability Depending on your category satisfying any of the above conditions, you will be provided with scholarship accordingly. The fee structure depends on many factors like the programme you want to join, the calibre of the student, the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination and in the entrance tests if applicable. So, applicable fees for the programme depends on the Scholarships if any is applicable. Scholarship Categories: Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: 1. Eligibility Qualification/ Qualification previous to Eligibility Qualification : (for example 10+2 for Undergraduate Programmes and graduation for PG Programmes). The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of qualification previous to Eligibility qualification. For example, someone seeking admission in B.Tech can seek scholarship on the basis of 10+2 (Eligibility Qualification) or 10th (Qualification previous to 10+2). Augmenting support to deserving candidates, LPU has further expanded the scholarship bracket to even facilitate candidates scoring a minimum of 70% marks during the COVID-19 pandemic national lockdown period. 2. Being an educational consultant, I have gone through the scholarships offered by the LPU. The scholarship which a student avails will be reduced from the fee of every semester. I. e. for your whole duration of programme. LPU believes in the fact that money should not be a constraint for a student to pursue his choice of studies. Scholarships can be availed in the various courses offered by LPU.
