Many students get scholarship in LPU according to their +2 Percentages and their Score in LPU NEST exam. It also provides scholarships to the toppers of the corresponding years in University Scholarship 1 Every year, roughly 50-60 per cent of the students receive scholarships from LPU thereby bringing down their course fees by 70-75%. Scholarship 2 University offers scholarship on the basis of performance in LPU NEST is available for all programmes of the university except Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed. ) Scholarship bracket for Hons/ Integrated/ Professional programme will be same as corresponding regular programme. Scholarship 3 Fee Concession for Defence, CAPF and their dependants: Offers fee concession to Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, Coast Guard, Central Reserve Police Force, Border Security force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Sashastra Seem Bal, Central Industrial Security Force, Railway Protection Force, National Security Guards, Special Frontier Force, Assam Riffles, Border Road organisation, General Reserve Engineer Force, Defence Research and Development organisation, Military Engineers Service and Defence Security Corps. The first and the most popular category under which the LPU offers a scholarship is LPU NEST exam. The sports and cultural scholarship can fetch one a 100% scholarship. The board toppers or the national level test toppers can also get 100 percent scholarships. Defence Scholarship provided to wards of Defence personnel, scholarship based on performance in Social Service / Bravery (NSS/NCC), Scholarship on performance in Research & Development (R&D), Orphan Scholarships, disabled scholarships. Lastly there is eed Based Scholarship - Financial Aid (Single Mother, Single Girl Child, EWS Category, PMS scholarship, Minority etc. ). .

Hi, LPU offers different types of scholarships on the basis of marks in either of the last two qualifications, LPU NEST Sports, Defence, need-based scholarship, Cultural, Co-curricular Activities, and many more. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, only one scholarship you will get is the maximum one. The best thing is if you get the scholarship, the tuition fees after getting a scholarship will be applicable every semester except for a few types of scholarships. Thanks.

Hi Sameeksha, of course LPU does offer number of scholarships under various heads. The scholarships are a boon to the needy and a big encouragement to the meritorious. The best thing about LPU scholarships is what you get at the time of admission continues till the completion of the course. However, the criteria is different for those who have sought admission through sports quota, board toppers and performing arts. If you are a board topper and someone from sports category and extra curricular performance category, you will have to either maintain a CGPA or keep performing in sports or extra curricular activities as the case may be. Otherwise if you have got scholarship through LPU NEST there are no restrictions. Once you get a scholarship, you will get the same amount of scholarship throughout the programme. Mainly two categories of scholarship provided by university First category of LPU scholarship is performance, starts from merits student and goes to hidden talent. Various parameter of performance are: 1. Percentage in Eligibility Qualification / previous to eligibility qualification 2. LPUNest 3. National Level Tests like JEE Mains, NEET UCEED CAT MAT GATE GPAT etc. 4. Performance in Sports, cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards 5. Toppers of School Education Boards Second category is Financial Aid for underprivileged students. These are: 1. Need Based 2. Serving/ Retired Defence/ CAPF/ Para- Military Personnel and their Dependents 3. Orphans 4. Persons with Certain Disability Scholarship is awarded in more than 150+ programmes, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D. Scholarship depends on the phase of admission. Also, scholarships once awarded, remain same, throughout the duration of course. It only get revoke, in case of serious misconduct or indisciplinary action against student.
