Which are the various categories on which LPU offer scholarship?

Lovely Professional University strongly believes in the fact that monetary constraints should not be an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education. So, the University extends the Scholarship and Financial Aid Scheme which is an initiative by the University to cultivate the talent of students that may be hidden due to financial constraints. Scholarship/ Financial Aid can be availed in all the Programmes of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D. In the last seven years, University has offered Scholarships/ Financial Aid worth 500+ Crores. The scholarship will generally be awarded on the basis of previous performance in academics, culture, sports, or other activities or under specific scholarship schemes category for a particular section of students. Hi, the scholarship in LPU depends upon the course that you are intending to join. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: 1. Scholarship: Eligibility Qualification/ Qualification previous to Eligibility Qualification: The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification. For example, on the basis of performance in 10+2 for Undergraduate Programmes and Graduation for Postgraduate Programmes LPUNEST: (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test) Certain National Level Tests (like JEE Main NEET UCEED CAT MAT GATE GPAT etc. ) Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards Scholarships/ Fee Benefits for Ph.D. Scholarship Scheme for Toppers of School Education Boards 2. Financial Aid Financial Aid Need Based Financial Aid for Serving/ Retired Defence/ CAPF/ Para- Military Personnel and their Dependents Financial Aid to Orphans Financial Aid to Persons with Certain Disability The last date to apply is 31 May 2021 post that the fee structure or the scholarship might change.

Let me share few categories on which LPU offers scholarship: Qualifying exam National Level Test LPUNEST exam Sports Cultural R & D Co-curricular Social Service Bravery Awards Special Scholarship for Toppers of Education Board Scholarship for Orphan Applicants/Single girl child Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability Students who have topped their board examination of eligibility qualification (10th or 10+2 as applicable) and are among the top 20 merit holders, may avail scholarships of full tuition fee waiver and hostel fee waiver which is applicable to four-seater air-cooled room. To facilitate quality education to deserving applicants, LPU offers a special scholarship of Full Tuition fee waiver to orphan students who are residents of India and whose both parents are dead. A maximum of 10 applicants will be awarded this scholarship on the basis of a first come first serve basis subject to satisfying the LPU policy for the same. Applicant having Benchmark disability of more than 70% and/or Locomotor disability caused by spinal cord injury can avail the benefit of full programme fee waiver subject his/her case being approved by Special Committee constituted by LPU.
