Which branch of B.Tech I should join ECE or CSE?

    Placement wise, ECE is a little better than CSE as it has more offers in the public sector (government jobs). Also ECE is considered to be somewhat of a "evergreen" branch. CSE also has very good placements and the average salary is higher than ECE. Being alumnus of LPU and being a close part of LPU I would say that LPU is the better choice to join for B.Tech. LPU is a UGC recognised and a renowned University and is considered as one among top 5 universities of the country because of its quality education and unbeatable placements, immense on course exposures and a beautiful 600 acres campus to live in with the latest facilit

    Depending upon the interest you can choose either CSE or ECE. Both are the core branches of engineering. If you love programming, coding, and networking you can opt for CSE. The scope of CSE in India is very good right now and as the world is growing its scope is also increasing exponentially. To my experience, One must consider B.Tech Course from Lovely Professional University because of the following reasons:
    1. LPU has 600+ acres of campus in Punjab and more than 25000+ students study there among many countries.

    Hello Sameeksha Kapoor, which branch of engineering you should choose!? ECE or CSE? It's actually a shakespearean dilemma. If you ask me presently the job opportunities for students who are passing out in CSE are much more than any other branch but as a result of this large number of students are able to get this branch as large number of colleges have started this branch and or passing out in huge numbers. This is resulting in oversupply and consequently less pay package. But then what will happen four years from now is anybody's guess.
