ME, ECE and EEE are hardcore engineering branches. ME is an evergreen branch of engineering which has remain preferred branch for last 5 decades. ECE will open door for you in Electronics, Telecom and IT companies. EEE will open door for you in Electrical power generation & Distribution companies. ME , ECE and EEE engineers are employed by Manufacturing and Services companies in Operations & Maintenance roles also. With CSE you have only career options in IT industry. All are good, but CSE is having more opportunities and a good scope for placements. If you're quick learner, then you can easily get a high package job. After that, EC then EE and ME.

Dear Subarna, All are the good streams, You can choose any branch according to your interest. If we compare both the branches then CSE has more scope than IT. CSE: Job openings for Software professionals is much higher in the corporate sector than in public sector. There is a huge scope of placements in CSE. In fact, it has taken the top position in placements as compared to the other fields. Programming involves a lot of innovations and students who love programming and designing or have a creative mind with a good understanding of coding can get into CSE and fit in very easily. ME, ECE, EE are core branches. They are perfect if you want to study software plus hardware things. And mainly if you want to go in government job you should choose these streams. But if you want to go at software companies you should choose CSE branch.
