Both the colleges are at power with each other. Placements are fairly good in both of them. The only thing, you can compare both the colleges is on college life and not academics. Academics is mostly same for all colleges.
If you are a person who wants a lot of freedom and no rules VIT is anyday better. But, if you want a disciplined life with acceptable number of rules and you want to stand out of the crowd in this aspect. Go for Amrita. -
