Which college should be preferred among SRM Chennai and Thapar University for B.Tech in CSE?

Dear Aspirant, I do not have the idea about other colleges but I do have idea about LPU being its alumni. LPU is one of the best private universities in the country with world-class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty. It has around 25000+ Students across the campus in different professional Schools. It offers more than 200 programmes in different disciplines. Lovely Professional University is the best engineering college in India. LPU becomes the best place to pursue an engineering degree with highly qualified teaching staff, best laboratories, and modern technologies. LPU provides abundant opportunities for students to think out of the box. LPU has around 2000 faculty members. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of their students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Being an alumnus of LPU I would prefer LPU. Thapar university is best B.Tech in CSE. Thapar Institute is a reputed and one of the oldest institution and it has good infrastructure, highly educated and supportive faculty.

All colleges are good for education but LPU is the best and it's known for quality education. I can say Lovely Professional University is the best engineering college in India. The University also provides the option of credit transfer and international exposure to their students. If I talk about the placements, the placement preparation is started from the very first year. Students are being given placement-oriented classes and even company-specific input also. Thousands of LPU students have got placed in top MNCs and are working all over the Globe. The highest Package Availed by Engineering (CSE) Student MS Tanya Arora is 42 LPA for batch 2020 by Microsoft. Students are placed in WorkIndia at 35 LPA; CLOUDERA at 31 LPA; AMAZON at a package of 30 LPA. An average package ranges from 5-10 LPA. Hello Krishna, SRM Chennai - High fees. Infrastructure good. Security ohk. Study nice. Placement not really good with respect to what we are paying them. Restriction n no of restriction, For girls specially. Rate - 6/10 Thapar University High fees Infrastructure good. Security ohk. Study good Placement really good. Restriction not too many. Rate 9/10.

No doubt, both the colleges are good and privately owned, but fee structure at SRM Chennai will be higher, and especially for CSE I would recommend Thapar Institute. Thapar Institute is a reputed and one of the oldest institution and it has good infrastructure, highly educated and supportive faculty. They provide better exposure and guidance to the students. Also, you would get better placement opportunity at Thapar Institute, so go for it don't waste your time thinking so much. All the best.

If you ask for my opinion then it has to be Thapar University. I have seen one of my friend going through their curriculum and he used to tell that they structured it in such a manner that you won't get idle time. The kind of learning they provide is unmatched. Moreover, they are carrying the legacy for more than half a century now, which obviously carries weight-age. And. CSE from Thapar is like touching gold because it is the most preferred branch of the most preferred course in the university. You don't get CSE at Thapar easily but if you are getting, make sure you claim it. They have even started with Student Exchange Program and have tied up with Dublin University, Ireland, where they will coach the undergraduate students and provide hands on training in their domain. Here also, the selection is merit based and your past semesters performance. I preferred Thapar University as my brother is also studying in that college. Most important thing is that it has a good placement record.
