which college should i choose among LPU and Chitkara in branch CSE?

Dear Manish, I would prefer LPU for the BTech branch in the CSE. My friend did the same from LPU and I recommended my cousin's brother also to pursue the CSE programme. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the program. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries that help students to explore themselves more in their field such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrad, etc. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities. All the colleges are good in their respective parameters, but I will talk according to my experience . My younger brother is a pass out student of Lovely Professional University, he got placed in 7th semester in cognizant with very good salary package. Almost all his classmates were placed at that time. Placement record is hiking year by year. Collaborations with famed companies like GOOGLE, MICROSOFT , CISCO and many more to provide practical exposure to students is also a plus point of LPU. Moreover, campus is very beautiful, infrastructure of university is remarkable. Lovely Professional University is an excellent private university for Civil Engineering. In Civil Engineering, LPU provides B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. programmes. One of my closest buddies graduated from LPU with a B.Tech and M.Tech in Civil Engineering. Hi, Both the universities are doing equally good but I recommend LPU because my brother did B.Tech(CSE) from LPU and he is working in an MNC now. I have visited LPU several times during his 4-year journey. I will highlight some of the features. The staff is highly qualified and most of them are Ph.Ds. The faculty has in-depth knowledge of the subjects they are teaching and are supportive too. The curriculum is built keeping in mind the current technology trends and is vetted by the company officials. LPU offers different specializations namely IOT, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, and many more. The placements at LPU are excellent. Moreover, they give you the option to choose your pathway elective as well that whether you want a corporate Job or Research or Government Job. The preparation for placements starts from the very first year. Many top recruiters visit the LPU campus to employ graduates, such as Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms. Both LPU and Chitkara are good Universities in terms of B.Tech CSE programme with unique curriculum and placements. As per experience, I must say that LPU provides great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. LPU is far way ahead with any other institute in many parameters such as rankings, exposure and placements. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. But I would like to share my insights about LPU.An Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place.
