I believe that, VIT-Vellore is better than Thapar University, but VIT s placements are good they have tie ups mass recruiters; they have very well infrastructure and good student-faculty ratio.

The infrastructure of the Thapar Institute is well designed. It provides good exposure and facilities for students. Classrooms are spacious and airy and the labs are well-equipped with all the required equipment. Library is big in all aspects. Hostel rooms are decently maintained by the staff. The Wi-Fi enabled campus. The canteen food is pretty good when compared to other universities. Placements in this vary between being decent and good, depending upon your communication skills.
