Dear Anant, Agriculture has huge scope and will never run out of job opportunities in either India and abroad bothplus entrepreneurship opportunities too. Lots of Government as well as Private job opportunities are present for fresh graduates. Talking about Government jobs, State Agriculture Departments recruit agriculture graduates to fill up Officer level posts. Government Banks also recruit them to fill up Officer level posts (generally dealing with Loans) obviously the number of jobs in Agriculture are far more than veterinary sciences. Agriculture is a primary source of livelihood for the majority of Indians. Thus, generally it remains the last priority among students choosing a career option. Which is a very wrong assumption. Agricultural graduates have wide scope of career in public sector and private sector. In fact entrepreneurship is a great opportunity to pursue your prospective career in agricultural field. Every field has it' own values, so we can't compare these two fields of study with each other. Only one thing I would like to suggest you that choose your career wisely. Firstly, you decide that for which field you are interested in. After that, make a decision. According to me B.Sc Agriculture is a better option rather than veterinary Science.

Dear friend as per my opinion and my knowledge both the courses are very good but dear in case of selection you must go for B.Sc. Agriculture as bsc agriculture has a lots of scopes ahead as you also know our country is an agricultural domainant country. so you will have much more chances of exploring yoursself.all the best
