You should choose a course as per your interest, aptitude, hobbies and passion. Both courses have their own importance and need. If you are technically sound and has flair for technology then go for M.Tech, while if your inclination is more towards management and corporate jobs do MBA. You need to qualify any entrance test (such as CAT / MAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/LPUNEST) and should also have min of 50% to 55% in your Bachelors. You can do MBA in any specializations of your interest. Some Good Colleges are: Iims, Xavier's Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur

If you are technically sound and have flair for technology then go for M.Tech, while if your inclination is more towards management and corporate jobs do MBA. Likewise, you have already completed your Bachelors's in mechanical engineering so I believe you have an interest in this particular field. In my recommendation, you should go further in the engineering stream to get more job opportunities. Lovely professional university is one of the leading private universities. LPU provides qua...more

Hello, First and foremost, you have to understand that there is no point comparing M.Tech and MBA courses. Both are specialized degrees and have value on their respective grounds. Both M.Tech and MBA provide excellent career options and have gained importance over time. M.Tech or MBA is always an added advantage to an engineer whether it is in terms of experience, knowledge or seniority. Whether it be an IT, manufacturing, or R&D driven establishment, there would be requirements for both M. Techs and MBAs. The M.
