    Hi,
Both MBA and M.Tech have their own advantages. If you want to go to management side, then do MBA. Otherwise, do M.Tech for advance technical knowledge. I suggest you to do M.Tech because in MBA, you will meet B.Com, B.Sc, engineering, BBA, BHMS, diploma and all other stream people. So, competition is more in MBA. If you do MBA, then you will become same like other fields student.

You should choose a course wisely keeping your interest in your mind. Both courses give you ample of opportunities and have their own importance and need. If you are technically sound and has flair for technology then go for M.Tech else do MBA. You need to qualify any entrance test (such as CAT / MAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ CMAT / GMAT/ NEST and should also have min of 50% to 55% in your Bachelors. You can do MBA in any specializations of your interest. Some Good Colleges are: Iims, Xavier's Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur (accepts XAT)
Lovely Professional University, Punjab (accepts/CAT/MAT/XAT/LPUNEST) Department of Management Studies, IIT
    ...more

It depends on where you wish to see yourself after the completion of the course. If you have more of a technology mindedness and feel you can contribute more to the world of technology, then M.Tech is for you. New generation courses include M.Tech in Nanotechnology, Robotics and so on. If you are desirous of climbing the corporate ladder and believe you can be better at a management level, then MBA may be a good choice.

    Hello,
If you have an inclination towards research, development and innovation you can opt for M.Tech programme. You can go for industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, automotive for your Masters. It will enable you to build a career in technical field. If you possess an inclination towards the managerial side then you can pursue the MBA programme and opt for the specialisation in logistics, supply chain management, marketing which suits your field. Besides this you can also pursue the Masters in engineering management.

    Hello,
If you are ready to earn more along with its inevitable risk, then surely go for MBA since a person with technical knowledge and an unique idea can launch his/her startup although there is a lot of uncertainty in it in terms of monetary rewards which are usually extreme. On the other hand, M.Tech is comparatively a bit safer option since one can still have certain job options but the salary here is usually fixed with arithmetic increments unlike extreme profits and losses in businesses.
    All the best!
