Both courses give you ample of opportunities. You should choose a course as per your interest. Both courses have their own importance and need. If you are technically sound and has flair for technology then go for M.Tech else do MBA. You need to qualify any entrance test (such as CAT / MAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ CMAT / GMAT/ NEST and should also have min of 50% to 55% in your Bachelors. You can do MBA in any specializations of your interest. Some Good Colleges are: Iims, Xavier's Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur (accepts XAT)
Lovely Professional University, Punjab (accepts/CAT/MAT/XAT/LPUNEST) Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi
    India

If you want to go into corporate, go for MBA, not MBA if u remember not from an IIT. Specialized jobs for engineers flocking in nowadays for MBA graduates. This is my experience as an engineer pursuing MBA in Doon Business School.

You will have more job opportunities in MBA ss after doing that you could either join corporate world as of MBA graduate or can also do engineering job so you would have two options. Or else think twice before taking any decision as your whole life depends on this.

If you do MBA, you will perceive both managerial and technical skills. So, you'll have better job opportunities later on. So, MBA would be better for you.

Both have sufficient scope but if you don't study well you will end up jobless. Don't think too much about the scope and choose a course as per your interests.

If you feel you can contribute further to the growing world of technology after the completion of an M.Tech, M.Tech may be preferred. If you are confident of your skills as a manager, wish to jump to some middle or higher management level and the aim to climb the corporate ladder then MBA is not a bad choice.

    Hi,
In my opinion, MBA is a better option to go for. Rest depends on what are your choices or in what kind of career you want to indulge ahead.

Opportunities are available in both the streams. Just follow that takes you to your interest area. If you are interested in business and want to do startup, then go for MBA otherwise M.Tech is good for applying PSUs and having technical areas.

You didn't score well in BE. It is quite evident that you are not good in engineering subjects or you have less interest in engineering. If you think that you are good in engineering, and due to some reason you didn't score well in BE, then prepare for GATE. Even if you score well in GATE, you may not get a seat in IISC, IITs, NITs or BITs due to the eligibility criteria (60 % and above requirement in BE or B.Tech).

    Hi Mohammed,
It totally depends on you if you want to be a little managerial as well as a little technical, then you can go for MBA, as doing MBA would provide you with a plethora of opportunities ahead and also would guarantee financial stability. So it totally depends on how you want your life. Hope it helps!
    Thank you.
