    Hi Payal,

Your role in the Aviation industry is fairly similar as it focuses on customer service whether it on board service or ground services.

However, the are some factors that cause the cabin crew to get a higher pay on a wider level as compared to the ground staff which are as follows -

    • They are required to relocate
    • Irregular work timings
    • More risk due to crashes, hijacks etc
    • constant personality checks(physical)
    • Constant training procedure & regulatory exams etc.

The salary for cabin crew and ground staff can vary depending on the employer, location, and experience level. However, in general, cabin crew tend to be paid more than ground staff. This is because cabin crew members are responsible for the safety and comfort of passengers during flights, and their job requires more specialised training and certifications. Ground staff, on the other hand, may include positions such as customer service agents, baggage handlers, and ramp agents, which may require less specialised training and certifications. Cabin crew looks after the comfort, safety and needs of the passenger in the flight.
    1. A cabin crew member or flight attendant greets passenger at the time of boarding and exist.
    2. They help to find your seat and pays more or special attention to passengers such elderly or disabled.
    3. All the meals are served by them.
    4. They show how to use emergency equipment.
    5. Write down the report after the journey. These are some of the basic duties of flight attendant or cabin crew. To become a cabin crew member you have to pass certain criteria, according to their policies.
  • Cabin crew gets pain more because they risk tier life but ground staff have better job then cabin crew as they are brand ambassador of any airlines. Job satisfaction in ground staff is more than cabin crew.

The main difference between cabin crew and Airport ground staff is that cabin crew are responsible for the safety and comfort of passengers during a flight, while ground staff are responsible for tasks such as check-in, baggage handling, and customer service. The ground staff is generally underpaid as compared to cabin crew members. The reason being, cabin crew members have to be more attentive and job performer than ground staff members. Although it also depends upon which airlines you are cabin crew and on which airport you are a ground.

Both the jobs have their own pros and cons. They both are equally good but a ground staff has much more responsibilities and face difficulties than a cabin crew, according to my perception. As well as pay scale of cabin crew is more than ground staff. But they both have very critical role in any airline.
