    Every branch is good provided you have a strong interest in that. I will brief you both and its prospects then you can decide as per your orientation. As we all know that Civil engineers are responsible for building things like tunnels and highways, while mechanical engineers focus on mechanical products.     Hi, LPU is equally good for both branches. Just SEE in which field you are interested in and take the admission. LPU does not compromise with education at any cost. Engineering programmes are the heart of LPU. The university has the best record in placements in almost all the fields be it like CSE, ME, AE, CE, ECE, EEE etc. LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same, it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs.     LPU is the best engineering college in India. LPU becomes the best place to pursue an engineering degree with highly qualified teaching staff, best laboratories, and modern technologies.
