Which engineering branch is better from LPU: Civil or Mechanical engineering?

Every branch is good provided you have a strong interest in that. I will brief you both and its prospects then you can decide as per your orientation. As we all know that Civil engineers are responsible for building things like tunnels and highways, while mechanical engineers focus on mechanical products. Mechanical engineers may work with smaller items, such as medical devices, or they may work on mechanical systems in buildings, such as power generators etc. B.Tech Mechanical Engineering is the branch of engineering that involves production, designing, and operations of machines whereas B.Tech Civil articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology through lab practice and projects to gain knowledge in areas like Structural, Environmental & Highway Engineering, Construction Management etc. Which are in sync with industry requirements. So, if you want to travel and have interest in building the tunnels, bridges etc. Then CE is the best for you whereas if you have an orientation for mechanical systems, power generators, medical devices or machinery then ME is fit for you.
