Which engineering branch is better from LPU: Civil or Mechanical engineering?

Every branch is good provided you have a strong interest in that. I will brief you both and its prospects then you can decide as per your orientation. As we all know that Civil engineers are responsible for building things like tunnels and highways, while mechanical engineers focus on mechanical products.
