If you are interested in geometry trigonometry then civil, mech and elec is more preferable. But for logical mathametics all electronics and computer related subjects are preferable.

In Engineering, mathematics is the common subject for all streams for the 1st year and then subjects get different depending on the core stream like if you chose IT then all the subjects will be related to IT only and in Electronics, all the subjects will be related to it only. If you want to pursue B.tech then go for the core fields like petroleum engineering, aerospace engineering, chemical engineering as they are unsaturated and have good career prospects. Few of these fields have mathematics in their curriculum for couple of semesters as the core subject.

It is based on your interest, if you are interested in machines and tools then opt for mechanical or automobile engineering, but if you have interest in construction pursue civil engineering.
