Almost all engineering branches take you on a road full of opportunities, the real question is deciding which branch of engineering are you passionate about. After deciding what you love the most, you can consider parameters like salary, growth opportunities, industry environment and, future prospects. I will suggest to take CSE if you want immediate and good paid jobs in IT. Every organisation or company requires to be present digitally, be it banks, hospitals, education, or railways. Computer Science and Information Technology are one of the most evergreen professions and will continue to rise in the years to come. In CSE field nowad

As per my knowledge, Mechanical engineering concentrates on the physical building of the tools and procedures, whereas computer Science focuses more on the digital component of design and development. B.Tech CSE is the most popular course among the students. After the completion of your degree in Computer Science Engineering, you can work in the field of database management, embedded systems, IT, telecommunication, multimedia, computer hardware and software implementation, computer hardware & software maintenance, gaming, web designing and other related industries. Computer Science engineering can be considered the best branch in engin

Mechanical engineering and computer Science certainly share many of the same intentions and problem-solving processes, if in different dimensions. However, this is where many of their similarities end. They must nurture different skills and knowledge, for example, and that affects their education. A mechanical engineer might be able to design some of the hardware upon which computer scientists rely, but only the latter can typically put those components to practical use. The reverse is also true. The next section offers a clear side-by-side comparison of mechanical engineering and computer science. Mechanical engineering is a branch of

It is all up to you. If you're interested in programming and everything, CSE is the course for you. In the future, you will have a wide choice of options. Each discipline of engineering has its own set of qualities. Mechanical engineers focus on physical structures and machinery while developing new products/devices. From building individual microprocessors, microcontrollers, supercomputers, and personal computers to circuit design, computer engineers are involved in many software and hardware elements of computing. Because the Engineers' overall goals are different in both circumstances, the curriculum of the programs is wholly distin

Dear Risheik, Both mechanical engineering and computer Science engineering are good branches of engineering. Coming to the selection of the programme, I would recommend mechanical engineering if you are good in Physics otherwise you can choose CSE which is also a good branch of engineering. The following are the best institutes for engineering programmes:
    IITs/NITs/IIITs
    Manipal University Pune
    Amity University Noida
    Lovely Professional University Phagwara
    UPES Dehradun
    Nirma University
Being an alumnus of LPU Phagwara I would be sharing the details of engineering at LPU with you. LPU offers various degree programmes in the engineering discip

It all depends upon your interest, what you like career-wise and talk to some people who have pursued the same and are standing on the point where you want to go. You must analyze better career options if you are still not sure. One benefit of IT is that it is much easier to get a job in IT rather mechanical IT. CSE industry is booming nowadays; also Software companies pays better than core companies.

I've had a really good experience with the mechanical engineering faculty at Chandigarh University. Most of them are PhD holders, so you can tell they know their subject inside out. What I like is that they're not just teaching from books—they share real-world examples, guide us in labs, and help with projects. The faculty is approachable, so if you ever get stuck on something, you can just ask, and they'll explain patiently. They also encourage students to explore electives like Thermal & Energy Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, or Design & Robotics, and help you pick what suits your career goals.

Plus, with all the collab

Yes, Chandigarh University is a good choice for B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. What I really like about the programme is the variety of specializations you can pick, like Thermal & Energy, Industrial Manufacturing & Management, or Automation & Robotics. The labs are another strong point from 3D printing and advanced welding labs to industry-backed centres by Honda, Mahindra, Hyundai, and MG Motors. These collaborations give you hands-on exposure that feels very close to real-world industry work. On top of that, the department is both ABET and NBA accredited, which adds global recognition. With regular industrial visits, workshops, and
