I am yet to write COMEDK and apply for SASTRA. Which college is better for doing B.Tech in CSE?

  • Hello Prasad, VIT Vellore campus would be the best choice among these options. As VIT is well reputed and ranked among the top engineering colleges in India, you can go for it. VIT has great infrastructure, placements, training and offers good exposure when compared to these colleges. All the best!

The placements at VIT are way much good compared to all the other colleges. The college and faculty are preparing all the students to get placed in all of the leading companies. VIT has also set a record for placing the most number of students in a single year. The placements are good, and the salary packages are nice. We know about the dream and super dream companies. Dream company means it offers more than 10 lakhs per annum, and super dream company means it offers 30 lakhs per annum. If you want to get a job in super dream company, then you have to maintain CGPA 9 in every semester.

VIT would be the best. Campus, placement, faculty and infrastructure are too good. AVG package 3.3 LPA. For CSE branch AVG package was 7.2 lpa. It is quite decent.
