B.Sc is good option by the comparison of BCA. BCA is good for a commerce student who want to go in computer field. If you have PCM in your 12th. So, this is the best option for you. Good luck!

If you are really good in computer and it's technicals, then I would suggest you to go for BCA as after that you can pursue MCA and can have a good opportunity and scope as compared to B.Sc. If you perform well. So, all the best.

You want your career in only IT with some application development then select BCA. However, if you want extra then go with B.Sc computer science because it is a very big field. It contains IT itself. Computer science field is a combination of IT, mathematics (computing), statistics, hardware, graphics, electronics and many more field. BCA restricts you for only application development, database and web development, while with B.Sc you can do some extra ordinary things.

Both courses have great opportunities. B.Sc. Is concept oriented, it will teach you the core concept of IT/CS and you will have to study Science subjects too. On other hand BCA is application oriented, teach current technologies, platforms. One can join BCA from Science, commerce and arts background. But to pursue B.Sc. You need to have a background of Science. B.Sc. Is a general course and BCA is a technical course, so getting job from BCA is easy than B.Sc. After B.Sc. You can do M.Sc. IT/CS or MCA both. But after BCA you can only do MCA. Best universities for doing BCA and B.Sc. Are: ITM University Raipur, ITMVU Vadodara, VIT Univer
