    Hello dear,
Lovely Professional University is much better than Thapar University because there are a lot of companies which offers placements opportunities. The best placements are from B.Sc. Hotel Management, MBA and B.Tech CSE, I T, EE and ECE. Companies such as Amazon, Infosys, Google, Adobe, Vmware, Reliance Communication and Morgan Stanley visit LPU for placements. Moreover, there are a lot of self-efforts required by the students. You can compete with them in companies if you do hard work. Be more focused on skills and practical knowledge which helps you in placements. Infrastructure is also good and LPU is one of the top univers

For Computer Science, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology is better that LPU. In terms of faculty, placement, infrastructure, accommodation facilities, Thapar is just the best. 96% students get placed to many renowned companies like KPMG, EY, Nestle etc. All in all, TIET is amazing college.

Thapar definitely, unless you want to invest a lot and end up with nothing. Don't go by those fancy ads, TIET may have less of media presence but it is older than the IITs and have been doing great in imparting education and support innovation.

According to me, every college has its own set of advantages and disadvantages and hence should not be compared. But Thapar is one of the most renowned and reputed colleges in India especially for CSE. It offers a variety of specialisations and improves the quality of its technology based systems every year. The faculty is very helpful. The institute focuses on providing both practical and theoretical knowledge to its students. The faculty has a great corporate network resulting in the participation of big companies and MNCs.
