Dear Narotham, Both Lovely Professional and SRM University are good but being alumni of LPU I can only provide you with the details of B.Tech in ME (Mechatronics) at LPU. LPU is the best option for Mechatronics. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university is having tie-ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Big companies like Google, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Ama

Mechatronics is a fascinating area that combines mechanical, electrical, and software engineering to provide graduates with a wide range of well-paid job prospects in disciplines including aeronautics, robotics, energy, and biomechanics. Though both universities have excellent academic programs, as an LPU alumnus, I'd like to provide some information about LPU. The study of the moving parts that move robotics, electronics, and machines is known as B.Tech Mechatronics Engineering. Mechanical, electrical, electronics, computer Science, instrumentation, and control systems are all covered in the B.Tech Mechatronics Engineering programme.

Mechanical engineering is the branch of engineering which deals with the design, manufacturing, maintenance and testing of machines. It is also considered as one of the most diverse and versatile disciplines of engineering. Mechanical engineering also includes the application of mechanics, material Science, applied mathematics and Physics. With the rise of modern technology, mechanical engineering has witnessed newfound importance with more and more students opting to learn less explored domains of robotics, mechatronics, nanotechnology, etc. Few good colleges for mechanical engineering other than IITs are MIT Manipal, COEP Pune, SRM U

Though, as been earlier established and better academics, I would suggest SRM over LPU. Though, mechatronics has very less scope in India and it may lead to suffer you a lot after your graduation. I suggest you to switch to IT, CSE or mechanical branch or choose IITs, MANIPAL or BITS for your branch.

Is Lovely Professional University even a university? SRM is better for mechatronics because you have better labs and opportunities. Campus is really good placements are also decent and then, please don't go for Lovely.

I am also a aspirant of Mechatronics with Robotics in SRM University. I have well researched and SRM IST is the best. Seniors have felt satisfied and seems the faculty is very helpful. Campus is awesome! 'Lovely' isn't a University level.
