Hello! I have done my Engineering from Lovely Professional University and I am a proud alumnus of LPU. I can share details about LPU but I cannot comment anything about CU. Starting with my experience from the first year onwards, where we asked to join some Placement Enhancement Classes, that day I wondering why there is a need of same at this early stage and then the day I was sitting in my placement drive, I recall all those essential points which were taught to me that day and those eventually helped me in securing my seat in an interview. Talking about my another life experience where we were asked to be a part of some live project in my second year and I was wondering, whether I am capable enough to be a part of such grand project from an MNC, but when eventually I started working, I realized I can do that and I had that much knowledge to be cope up with such projects. Also, such projects boosted up my CV and helped me in my placements as well as in my professional career. University keeps on conducting, guest lectures, seminars, live projects, hands on training, sharing views and experiences by the experts and many more events which helps the students to broaden their thoughts and cope with the corporate world. In my batch I remember, almost 95% students were placed and there were many who got the multiple packages as well. I was one of them, I remember my day I am hopping around the campus and was looking around which option to choose, Finally I landed up choosing HCL, with which I am currently working as well since last 4 years and have received many promotions and hikes. All I dedicate that to my faculties and mentors at LPU. They helped me in choosing the right decision at that time as well. Students are trained professionally from their first year onwards. The University provides maximum opportunities to students. It depends upon the students whether they want to grab the opportunity or not. One more point I would like to share that it is not just calling the company to the campus, but preparing the students up to such level that they can crack any interview is equally important. So, I have observed, LPU faculties, put in a lot of efforts to get the students placed. So, preparing the students to such level is more important and putting up efforts for that is more important and that what LPU always takes care of. University has separate placement enhancement department, which focuses on overall development of students. I hope this helps you

Dear Hitansh, CSE is a highly dynamic and industry accepted programme, he breakneck speed at which the technologies change and upgrade makes the present ones obsolete very fast! Very few universities have recognised that dynamism has to be adapted to run this programme if you need to maintain the quality. You must compare the universities on: Curriculum development: Is the curriculum at the university upgraded with industry inputs, as fast as possible. Teaching pedagogy : Your college must have experiential learning practices. More the practical, better it is. Infrastructure: To support the practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum Internships : For learning hands on the real time situations. Professional enhancement: The college must focus on the personality development, soft skills, interpersonal skills, work ethics etc. Student diversity: When the class comprises of people from diverse nationalities, students learn working in corporate, team work and cross cultural sensibilities. Faculty: High caliber and research oriented. Industry interface: There must be regular industry interactions, seminars, conferences, visits and mentor-ship programs. Entrepreneurship projects: The universities need to have design thinking, innovation and business incubation labs Placements: After all it boils down to placements, the university must attract god number of companies for recruitment and offer good salaries. After a fully subjective comparison I feel LPU has an edge over every other private university. It attracts over 30000 students from all over the world and more than 600 companies to campus is proof enough of its excellence. Hope this helps DVD.

Hi, Among these, Chandigarh University is a better option for MBA 1. CU provides better internship and placement options. It has an additional Pre-internship and Pre-placement programs where they make the students industry-ready. 2. Chandigarh University has a record of almost 100% 3. The syllabus is all updated and modern. The faculty is well qualified and has industry experience as well. 4. The campus is fantastic. 5. The course is AICTE and UGC approved as well.

Hi Hitansh, You can pursue CS from Chandigarh University without a second thought. It is NAAC A+ accredited with a 100% placement record. The university follows an industry-oriented curriculum and focuses on skill building. Some of the biggest names such as Microsoft, Amazon and IBM are regulars for campus recruitments.

In Chandigarh university new updated teaching methodology is used to enhance students’ knowledge. The faculty is well qualified and has industry experience as well. 3.
