There are several engineering specialties with considerable potential for income. The finest engineering discipline for the future, nevertheless, may be said to be computer Science engineering. Computer engineers are highly sought after in practically every industry due to the rise of software-driven technologies. Graduates with computer Science or related degrees have high work prospects in the future, when AI (Artificial Intelligence) and machine learning may have enormous potential for improvement. It depends on your personal information, interest and what you want to become after 4-years.
You should have a clear vision before taking up B.Tech.

    Hi,
    How are you?
Well, each and every branch in engineering is good, we can't compare them. Just there are a few differences like mechanical, electrical and civil are evergreen branches but CS, IT and EC have high placement records.
Other than this, you may also take chemical, metallurgy, mechatronics, etc.
    So, choose a suitable branch.
    Go for it.
    Thank you and keep asking!

Mechanical engineering is called the ever green branch as Mechanical Engineers find suitable placements in almost all segments in industry. Streams in demand include electronics and communication engineering, computer science and engineering, applied electronics and instrumentation, electrical and electronics and so on as traditional streams. There are sector specific and new generation streams like mechatronics, automobile, aeronautics, cybersecurity, nano technology, etc. which are capturing demand. IT is found to be recession dependent so far. Considering trends in growth in industry, Electronics and Computer Science streams seem to

    Hello,
Traditionally civil, mechanical & electrical branches are called as core branches of engineering BE or B.Tech. Nowadays, almost each one of these has been subdivided into many more branches. You must seek to do what your heart desires to do.

Hello, B.Tech BE in CSE or ECE is a good option as per today's requirement and there are good placements today. But companies only take students who have extra skills along with the degree. They don't just take degree holders. So, do extra courses and job will be in your hand. Cities like Pune, Bangalore, Ahmedabad are more prone to jobs in these sectors. Best of luck.
