Well, there can be many aspects to be considered while choosing a branch (stream) for B.Tech. You have to choose the stream as per your interest. No branch is less or more important, each of them has its own importance, it solely depends on you, in which stream you want to make your career. See there are enough jobs for every stream, what a company need is quality engineers, SO if you are dead serious for your better future and giving parallel dedication towards it, you will definitely going to succeed.

Lovely professional University is best for engineering course. LPU has established itself as one of the best private universities in India. Time and again, the university has set placement records and has been reviewed to be the top university in regards to employability, infrastructure, academic disciplines and campus life. I mean no disregard to the other universities in question, but LPU has been working very hard to reach where it is today. The university has been very considerate of their students and has ensured that they are given all they need to perform well in their academics and other co-curricular activities.

Universities which offer other degrees along with engineering named their engineering degree as BE (Bachelor of engineering) and institute constituted for only engineering studies named their degree as B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology). This may not be true for all cases, but most. Education-wise, there is hardly any difference.
Coming to the selection of branch, you need to discover your interests first irrespective of the scope and job opportunities for a particular branch. The amount of dedication and hard work you give will totally depend on your interests and it will definitely give results (job opportunities).
