    Hi,
The best branch depends on the field in which you are interested. This is so because with your interest in a particular field you will enjoy your study more and it could result in awesome placement and cherished success. There are many branches like electrical engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, electronics and telecommunication engineering, computer science & IT engineering, mining engineering, ceramic engineering, metallurgy engineering, chemical engineering, biotechnology engineering, etc., which will help you to get success in future. Mechanical engineering is called the ever green branch as Mechanical Engineers find suitable placements in almost all segments in industry. Streams in demand include electronics and communication engineering, computer science and engineering, applied electronics and instrumentation, electrical and electronics and so on as traditional streams. There are sector specific and new generation streams like mechatronics, automobile, aeronautics, cybersecurity, nano technology, etc. which are capturing demand. IT is found to be recession dependent so far. Considering trends in growth in industry, Electronics and Computer Science streams seem to

    Hi,
    How are you?
Well, each and every branch in engineering is good, we can't compare them. Just there are a few differences like mechanical, electrical and civil are evergreen branches but CS, IT and EC have high placement records.
Other than this, you may also take chemical, metallurgy, mechatronics, etc.
    So, choose a suitable branch.
    Go for it.
    Thank you and keep asking!

    Dear friend,
There is nothing good or bad. Everything would depend upon your area of interest and passion for learning. For example, if you choose the chemical branch of BE today due to high scope of it today, in the coming days it would not be sure that it will remain on that position or not. In this situation what should you do? It's not your fault or anyone else'. In short, you must go for what you are interested in.

There is nothing like the best branch. It all depends on your interest. But the important thing is in which area you want to work in future. Currently, IT sector is growing rapidly and as a result, it might seem that IT/computer science engineering is an attractive option to go for in terms of job prospects.
