    1) Each and Every course has their special benifits, it only depends, what we want to become
    2) if want to become scientist, do Science core courses.
    3) do Diploma/B.Tech/MCA, to become engineer
I think, Engineering in software designing is the best you can do to have high chances of placement.

Ofcourse it will be engineering because private colleges got alot of placement opportunities from there. Every year different associates, firms and other areas hire students doing engineering.

Dear aspirant, This is not to hurt or to the detriment of any feelings of engineering students. Yes, Engineering is at the forefront of all Bachelors courses to achieve excellence in your career, but it has some problems with the current state of Indian education. We want you to be considerate when making your career decisions. Awareness is an important key to a good programme. Instead of just pursuing a degree because everyone else is going for it you should go for an option that will help in complementing the aims and goals of your life. By comparing B.Sc. Or B.Tech, as an engineering student you will definitely be taking admissions

    Pros and Cons:
B.Tech : 4 years. M.Sc. 3 + 2 = 5 years. Course fee: B.Tech will be higher almost. Chances of getting placed in a IT/Product/Management company are higher through campus placements once you complete B.Tech. Remember you have to choose among the best of Colleges. You will start with a salary package of 20 - 25 thousand per month. I have few of my friends who are earning upto 60,000 per month with promotions and no PG degree. Once u start performing the company will give you options of doing your M.Tech or MBA side by side. On the other hand the craze for Economics has reduced nowadays and the domain needs more people. I would suggest you to go for engineering. In engineering, you must go for Computer Science Engineering. It is the most popular field. Average salary is much higher than other degrees like B.Sc and M.Sc also some engineering fields. Average salary in India is around 8 million rupees (IIT Student) and in USA avg salary is around 1-3 million $.

Surely, Engineering is better for an immediate and good placement. With others, you may be able to get jobs and it involves some luck.
