It depends on the respective institution, subject, and your result. If you have done well, then every stream is good, but if you don't, then the stream doesn't matter. Now, if you do B.Sc and M.Sc in applied subjects from a good institution it would be great. If you do B.Tech from IITs, then it would be awesome. Don't care about the possibilities of employment, but think about the subject in which you are strong.

Firstly, it depends on your interest. Secondly, engineering is a better option from the point of view of jobs and placement. But, you must go for it only if you are interested in it as it is a technical field.

This all depends on your education and on the level of performance that how you are going to perform. B.Sc opens wide areas of teaching jobs. M.Sc can allow you to be a teacher in a college. Engineering too offers the same.

If you are only looking for placement, your approach is wrong. B.Sc honors and engineering will both fetch you good jobs and services. If you like researching then go for B.Sc. honors, otherwise engineering.

    Hello,
Of course, doing engineering will fetch you more chances of placements and that too with the handsome packages. On the other hand, you at least need to do Ph.D for getting recruitments in the higher positions. But this statistics doesn't hold perfect for every time. Everything depends on your determination and hard work. All the best.
