Which is the best for placement and package among CSE or ECE in B.Tech?

CSE is always in demand and packages too are better in CSE only, and it has a good scope.

These days there are many good government as well as private universities like IITs, IITTs, NITs, LPU, SRM, etc. offering admissions in different engineering branches. Some of them offer admission just based on tests like JEE and some can offer the admission on basis of JEE or their own test or direct admission too based on your marks in previous qualifying exam. So, you can check the websites of these universities to know the course and fee details.

Hi, CSE is the best in terms of placements. But you must do it from the right university. So, I recommend you join LPU for the best placements. Ranking: LPU has been ranked 78th amongst all government and private universities by NIRF ranking released by MHRD, Government of India. Placements: Thousands of LPU students have got placed in top MNCs and are working all over the Globe. The highest Package Availed by Engineering (CSE) Student MS Tanya Arora is 42 LPA for batch 2020 by Microsoft. Students are placed in AMAZON at a package of 30.3 LPA. Rs. 24 LPA for B.Tech/M.Tech CSE by Optmyzr. Rs. 80,000 per month as the highest Internship Stipend Availed by LPU Student (Summer Internship with Microsoft). Almost every MNC visit LPU to recruit students with an average package of 6-12 LPA. If I talk about LPU alumni, Name any dream company (like Google, Apple, Oracle, Facebook, Yahoo, Microsoft, Snapdeal, etc. ). That anyone would aspire to work for, you will find at least one LPU alumni as an employee of that organisation. A few of them are earning beyond some Crore rupees per annum. Chandigarh University offers the best placements to CSE or ECE branches. In Chandigarh University, a record number of 3750 engineering students were selected during the campus placements in which more than 240 multinational companies participated. In total there was a jump of 30% in number of total companies visiting the CU campus for campus placements of engineering students while there was jump of 70% in the number of core branch companies which selected the fresh talent. Moreover, the total number of offers made to the engineering students also saw a rise of 60% in comparison to last year. Of the total 240 Engineering sector companies, more than 300+ MNCs offered pay-package of more than 5 LPA while number of companies offering package of more than 10 LPA touched 80+ this year. It is notable that the highest package of Rs. 52.11 LPA was offered by TOP Company. Thank you.

As per going with current trends and the upcoming future, CSE branch will continue to flourish than any other branches. CSE branch has relatively high placement opportunities which turns to high salary packages relatively to other branches. But there isn't any scope of CSE in government sector. For government sector jobs, ECE should be preferred over CSE any day.
