    For freshers,
I feel any company is best to start with. As a fresher, students should stick to their 1st company for a minimum of 4-5 years. However, I also wish to inform you that many colleges start their placement with product, consulting and core companies followed by IT companies. The packages offered by product companies/consulting companies are more as compare to other IT service companies. Hence, students need to choose the companies wisely.

According to today's scenario, the best placements for the B.Tech is in the CS, but in the coming time the best placements will of the ECE students, as the students of this branch is gaining extra skills and learning all that the CS students will do as they need the same for the IoT projects.

CSE is always in demand and packages too are better in CSE only, and it has a good scope.

    Hands down CSE.
CSE is a field which is growing by leaps and bounds every year and will keep the pace. The demand for graduates from CSE/IT departments is pretty big. The demand is so high that many students from other branches also get IT roles. The average packages for IITs and top NITs for CSE are above 10 LPA. Even CSE has some of the best companies to work for like Amazon and Google where the employees are given a lot of facilities and incentives.
But if you are interested in ECE it is also a pretty good branch. It also has decent placements and packages. The irony is many ECE students join IT jobs in the end. So, if you are genuin

Both are the good streams, You can choose any branch according to your interest. If we compare both the branches then CSE has more scope than other streams. CSE: Job openings for Software professionals is much higher in the corporate sector than in public sector. There is a huge scope of placements in CSE. In fact, it has taken the top position in placements as compared to the other fields. Programming involves a lot of innovations and students who love programming and designing or have a creative mind with a good understanding of coding can get into CSE and fit in very easily. Being an alumnus of LPU and currently working with a good

Depending upon the interest you can choose either CSE or ECE. Both are the core branches of engineering. If you love programming, coding and networking you can opt for CSE. The scope of CSE in india is very good right now and as the world is growing its scope is also increasing exponentially. You can also go with Chandigarh University. The University has a dynamic academic fraternity drawn from top universities nationally and internationally. CU offers the most conducive student-faculty ratio of 14:1, leading to 85 per cent student satisfaction. Chandigarh University provides a global perspective to facilitate the students with interna
