    Both streams have their own set of advantages, and which one you choose is a matter of personal preference. However, I would recommend pursuing a B.Sc. Biotechnology over microbiology because it has a larger scope. Biotechnology is a subfield of microbiology. As a result, you should seek a biotechnology Bachelor's degree.
