Hi Radhika B.Sc. Deals with more of a theoretical part whereas B.Tech comprises more of a practical. But B.Sc. Is either research or teaching-oriented. By going for a Ph.D. you can also become a professor in a reputed university. B.Tech is more of an engineering side and thus has better job prospect

If you want to do Masters, then go for B.Sc in Microbiology, and then M.Sc Microbiology, but for employment right after graduation, you should go for B.Tech Biotechnology.
