Aircraft Diamond DA-42 3. Aircraft Trinidad TB-20. Aircraft Zlin Z 242 L, 4. In 2006, the Wings College of Aviation Technology (WCAT) in Pune was founded. The Director of Civil Aviation, Government of India, has given the college his approval. WCAT was established to significantly raise the bar for aircraft maintenance, and it is widely hailed as the ideal, modern institution in the field of aviation Science. -
Clearly, IGRUA is better than WCAT, Pune. Because WCAT doesn't have their own infrastructure for Flying/ Pilot training facility. So no one should ever keep WCAT as any 2nd or 3rd option also.

The two flying schools mentioned for comparison are as different as chalk and cheese. Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUI) is a government institute and hence those who are seeking admission there should be rest assured about the recognition etc. On the other hand, WCAT is located in Pune and is more famous for its courses on aircraft maintenance engineering or AME rather than training students as pilots. Without any doubt and hesitation, you should grab the seat in 'Indira Ghandi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA)' for pilot training. The biggest reason to saying this, is it is a government institution which offers this course and hence, there is no tension to think for its recognition and affiliations. Great thing is that they provides scholarship to students. There is JRD Tata scholarship given upon completion of course. IGRUA recommends the name for award of scholarship to about 10 cadets a year.
