BCA is Bachelor of Computer Applications and is concerned with applications of computers. It is a 3-year graduation degree course generally for those students who want to learn computer languages and who want to join software firms after it. Higher education opportunities include MCA and MBA.
B.Sc IT deals with information technology and its applications. This degree is primarily focused on subjects such as software, databases, wireless and networking. Jobs in IT are found to be recession dependent, but let's hope for the better and talk about positives.

If you want to be an ethical hacker, then B.Sc IT is preferable because BCA mainly focus on app development. For ethical hacking, you need deep knowledge of networking, so B.Sc IT is good. But, if you are eligible for computer science, then I would suggest it over IT.

Depends on your long-term goals. In case you are unsure of that, you might want to consider some of these factors: The job opportunities after BCA are far better than B.Sc. The pay package that one gets after BCA will be better than what one gets after B.Sc.
    Hope this helps!

As per my opinion and my knowledge, you must go for BCA, as you also know that today's world is an environment of IT and need aspirants pursuing a career in the same field, and so by doing this course you can increase your chances of selection and have bright future ahead. All the best and have a great life ahead.

As you are looking towards IT industry and want to become an ethical hacker then I'd recommend you to go for BCA because BCA is a technical course which is fully oriented towards IT, whereas, B.Sc is a general course. Therefore, in your case, BCA will provide much more value to become an ethical hacker.

B.Sc. In IT will be better as IT sector is ever growing and technical skills are always used in a company, so B.Sc. Will give you a wider scope than BCA. Regards.

BCA would be a better option for you. You should score a minimum of 50% in class 12th to do BCA. Some colleges prefer students who have studied mathematics till 12th class whereas there are some colleges which give admission to those who had opted for arts or commerce. Most of the renowned universities conduct entrance exam after qualifying that exam you can take admission in BCA. I'll suggest you to choose IT field, because it has more scope than others course and competition as well. BCA is a 3 year undergraduate course in which you'll study some management skills, and the more you'll learn or study is programming languages like C, C+, Java and SQL. But, in few colleges they have started teachings web designing for their better survival in IT industry. So, I'll advice you to choose IT career and it'll give more opportunities than others courses. Now, if you want to have a look on the syllabus of BCA course. Then you can install this app and can see the programming syllabus of BCA. The link of app is given belo
