That depends on your interest, aptitude, hobbies, personality traits, time spending habits and most importantly your ASPIRATIONS. Ask the following questions to yourself first.
    1. What are the things you would want to do with your life as an Engineer?
    2. What are the things that your degree will enable you to do? Mechanical field will lead you to life in machines, their design and developing the designs etc., while electrical field will lead your career into electrical designs, quality control and entirely different industry. Both Mechanical and Electrical have ample scope for good well-rounded professionals in the industry, the only po

HiA lot depends on your interest as you can give your best in a stream for which you are passionate. The companies to pick the bests. So decide your interest to give your best. Both streams are quite good but the engineering stream you can give your best should be chosen. LPU is the brand name for all engineering streams.
    1. LPU students are guided on niche technologies like Google, SAP and Oracle. Possessing such skill sets separates them from the ordinary and leads them to grab top placements.
    2. LPU students are provided ample opportunities for full time internships and on-the-Job training in reputed companies like Microsoft, Amazon

I'll prefer you to opt for the electrical engineering, as the scope of this field in India is good and you can easily get a decent pack job easily, but this can't be possible in the mechanical branch as there are very less jobs in India, but since both are core branches, you can opt for mechanical also
    Good luck.

Electrical engineering is a little better than mechanical engineering, as it has better scope and nowadays some of the mechanical engineers are ending up jobless but there is a better scope fir electrical engineers, so better go with electrical engineering.

Sorry, but all forms of engineering require a solid grounding in maths. However, it's not like you'll be immersed in mathematics for all time, like a theoretical mathematician. It's necessary to have the groundwork because so much of engineering is built on top of it. In everyday work you may find that the field-specific software in daily use does 99% or more of the heavy mathematical lifting for you. It's when the software kicks up an unexpected result that you need to be able to assess whether the result is trustworthy. For this, you need a reasonable understanding of the basic principles and assumptions upon which your software is b
