In terms of pay package and placements electrical is too good then mechanical and electrical studies are somewhat easier than mechanical.

I'll prefer you to opt for the electrical engineering, as the scope of this field in India is good and you can easily get a decent pack job easily, but this can't be possible in the mechanical branch as there are very less jobs in India, but since both are core branches, you can opt for mechanical a

Electrical engineering is a little better than mechanical engineering, as it has better scope and nowadays some of the mechanical engineers are ending up jobless but there is a better scope fir electrical engineers, so better go with electrical engineering.
