Which university is better - LPU or Sharda?

Dear Aspirant, Sharda and LPU are good universities and well-known in the education sector. I did B.Tech in CSE from LPU so I would like to share the information about the LPU with you. LPU has 600 acres of campus having 35000+ students and 4000+ faculty and staff. Many students come across the world from more than 50+ countries which makes you feel like you are in a foreign country. LPU offers a number of programmes in various fields such as engineering. Pharmacy, law, architecture, fine arts, management, etc. LPU offers more than 200+ programmes. You can get a degree from a Diploma to a doctoral level. Commendable Placement: In LPU, more than 550+ national and multinational companies visit for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA till now. Scholarships/Financial Assistance: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. LPU also helps students in the Education loan facility. Research Achievement: 1. Stanford University ranks 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world 2. Both the universities are good and are doing very well in the field of education. LPUs investment in intellectual capital is way beyond comprehension, extremely qualified and talented! With a research powerhouse of more than 100 post-doctorates and 700 PHDs, LPUs strength is its academic power. Coming to infrastructure, the 1200-acre campus which is equipped with every machinery, equipment, and software required in all the programs is a wonder in itself, just, for example, more than 10 companies have established centers for excellence within the campus with their investment to keep an eye on the abundant talent! The central library is one massive 6-story building with lacs of books and a network to produce any title anytime! And this is in addition to many other libraries in all the departments. Industry plays an important part in shaping the careers of students at LPU, from consulting for curriculum to guest lectures, industry interface, internships, consulting projects, establishing centers, providing machinery and equipment, software, certifications and finally immersing the students from campus. Attracting 30000 plus students, 200 international universities, and more than 600 companies from all over the world to its state-of-the-art multicultural campus year after year after year speaks volumes about LPU.

Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. Sharda University is a state-private university located in Greater Noida and ranks 26th among the top universities in India 2020. The university claims to have placed over 80% of its students in top MNCs. It provides the opportunity for the students to learn other areas and excel in life. Lovely Professional University, on the other hand, was awarded the best private university award by ASSOCHAM in 2017. It has a reputation for maintaining 90% placements every year. Both the colleges are good; they have good placement records and an experienced faculty. Sharda University is preferred over LPU as it has many industry exposures, placement opportunities, and advanced learning features. Hope it helps.

As per my knowledge,All the university are doing good in their own way. Rather than comparing, we should check the university which caters all round development of student. I would suggest you to check the following before finalizing the institute: 1. Rankings 2. Faculty 3. Pedagogy used 4. International exposure 5. Tech-savvy last but not the least Placements All the institutes are doing great in education but Being a alumni of LPU,I can highlight some of the facts of LPU: #LPU being in education since last 18 years has fetched many rankings to its credit as compared to any other institute. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. #Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions. # Students are also provided with on job trainings, industrial exposures inculcating in them modern management skills. #LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same, it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted from the company officials of Cognizant, Microsoft etc. To provide updated curriculum. #The centre for Professional enhancement of LPU aims at developing new skill sets to its students besides improving their existing skills and competencies. The students get trained in Logical Reasoning, Aptitude, Verbal Ability, and Soft Skills by professional faculties. LPU provides various opportunities which range from one-day workshops to a semester-long academic course that improves the learning experiences of its students. #LPU has its own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on a satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. #If you consider placements, LPU outperforms in that as well by assisting the student to get the highest package by making the student prepare for the placements. Being a student, LPU is very close to my heart, my vote is with LPU. I keep myself updated with the all-new things happening at LPU. Lovely Professional University is close to my heart. I have spend some of the very memorable days of my college life here and looking forward to so much more. I have tried summing up my experience so far, below: If I talk about Infrastructure, LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 600+ acres. Gym, Hi-Speed 24 Hrs free Wi-Fi service, Swimming pool. Very good central Library of 6 floors and huge collection of text-books and reference books. The campus has its own hospital, hotel, and a mall. The classes are well-designed with all the latest amenities available. Another thing that I liked about the university was that it has some of the best teachers on board. Not only did they make the classroom sessions interesting, but they were also were very friendly and catered to any doubts I had about a particular topic. I had a great academic exposure during my time at LPU. Students here get to work on live projects because of which they are able to learn in depth about their subjects. They also get to attend the workshops and guest lecturers during their time in the campus which actually help them gain valuable knowledge. LPU providing quality education, and have provided good rankings to the university on various parameters like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations, Tie-ups etc. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. Many companies visit here for placement drive, and it is awarded for the most number of placements in a year. Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. Companies like LPU has a fully secured student residence facility. Being alumni of Lovely Professional University, I would say that it is a Lovely Professional University which every students are looking for. Be it studies, hangout places, infrastructure or extracurricular activities, this university has it all.
