5 years agoHi,In North India, I must say LPU is might be as good as IHM's in North India. And yes LPU does offer a Bachelors's degree in Hospitality and Airline Tourism. Placements are very good ATIT salary packages are very good. In fact, I have heard few overseas placements also. LPU provides 4 Hospitality courses:
1) B.Sc. Hotel Management. 3 years.
2) Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. 4 years.
3) B.Sc. (Airlines, Tourism, and Hospitality) 3 years.
4) Diploma in Airline Cabin Crew and Hospitality. 1 Year

For admission, there are lots of factors to be considered such as placement, appropriate labs and facilities available for a particular course you have opted, Fee structure, Curriculum, Internship and placement and many more. Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT, commerce, arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .
