Which will be a better institution for aerospace engineering between SASTRA and LPU?

Dear Sanjay, Both SASTRA and LPU are good universities for higher education in the education sector. Being alumni of LPU, let me share the details of aerospace engineering at Lovely Professional University. Aerospace is a niche area, the skills required in the industry are beyond the course curriculum of most of the universities. LPU has recognised this and developed the curriculum in consultation with the industry. It has even set up a center for space research with a mission control facility. This marks the third consecutive occasion of a team from LPU getting selected to participate in the prestigious competition. Interestingly, the team also got an opportunity to interact with Sunita Williams, a NASA astronaut, and two-time spaceflight veteran, who attended the second day of the event. Both the universities are good. For aerospace engineering you can also go for Chandigarh University, Mohali. I am not quite aware of SASTRA for tier aerospace engineering programme as Aerospace is a specialised branch of engineering which deals with the design and development of aircraft's as well as space crafts The course curriculum covers aspects of two branches of engineering - aeronautical and astronautical engineering. The course also focuses on new technologies in aviation, defense systems, and space exploration. SCOPE OF AEROSPACE ENGINEERING :When the world is designing more cost-effective satellites and space shuttles, itll need expert brains to design such machines. As the world is moving towards commercialization of space shuttles and rockets, the demand for aerospace engineers is set to increase. With a number of private players entering into aerospace technology, the opportunities are getting better. Duties of Aerospace Engineers Aerospace engineers typically do the following: Direct and coordinate the design, manufacture, and testing of aircraft and aerospace products Assess proposals for projects to determine if they are technically and financially feasible Determine if proposed projects will result in safe operations that meet the defined goals Evaluate designs to SEE that the products meet engineering principles, customer requirements, and environmental regulations Develop acceptance criteria for design methods, quality standards, sustainment after delivery, and completion dates Ensure that projects meet quality standards Inspect malfunctioning or damaged products to identify sources of problems and possible solutions One of my best friends is doing Aerospace Engineering at LPU.
