Go for B.Tech instead of B.Sc because you have studied mathematics in your 12th.

If you are really good at maths then only go for mathematics else opt for B.Sc in CS and do coding passionately and fetch a job with a satisfying package.

Hello, Firstly, each subject has its own plus and minus. Just decide on the basis of your interest. Then do search on the available options on the chosen subject as a career field. The answer is known by the one person and that is you only! Surely your interest will lead you to the success whether you chose any of the field!

Hi Shahbaz, Although it depends totally on your interest. You better know that in which field you will earn happily for the rest of your life. If you have decided to become teacher and a Ph.D. scholar in mathematics then you should proceed with graduation in mathematics honours. Otherwise you should opt B.Sc. Computer Science or BCA. Associated chamber of Commerce and industry of India has recognised Lovely Professional University for their Remarkable placement records with more than 150 companies including ITC, Asian Paints, HDFC, Federal Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, Moodys Analytics, WNS Global etc. And so on recruiting MBA students

If you have interest in computer applications you can do B.Sc in computer science and MCA where you will have a great career. If you have interest in maths then you can do B.Sc. with mathematics with Ph.D and become a professor in future.

    Hi Dear,
If you're from a place where most people don't take up a particular subject in interest, then ultimately there is lack of human resource in the particular subject. Thereby, providing more job opportunities for someone who know the subject/field. For me I'd choose B.Sc. (mathematics) because there is lack of people in this field with reference to our locality, hence providing me greater job opportunities. So, choose the particular field wisely.

Computer Science has a good demand and scope these days. If you are opting for mathematics, you can even go further for courses like, actuary sciences which has a wide scope and opportunities in market. These days with actuarial analyst, people are earning INR 15-20 lacs per annum.

As per me, it would be better if you take B.Sc (Hons) in computer Science and on the other side, it would be great if you choose a course in which you have interest.

Both are good options if you want to join teaching line as a career then B.Sc. Honours in mathematics is also having good scope after B.Sc. You can do M.Sc. By IIT then go with Ph.D. so having scope in research area also.

Both IPU and DU are public/ government universities and are one of the oldest universities. DU admissions are tough because of the high cutoff for some colleges, whereas for IPU, admissions are comparatively easy for some colleges with low cut-offs. The infrastructure of colleges affiliated with IPU is comparatively better than that affiliated with DU. The fee is another factor that makes DU a preference among students. In the end, it depends on the students, which university is better for them.

Every BA course pursued from DU is the best. But a few specializations that are highly-regarded in DU colleges are BA (Hons) Political Science, BA (Hons) Economics, BA (Hons) English, BA (Hons) History, and BA (Hons) Psychology. Gargi College, Hansraj College, LSR College, Hindu College, Kirori Mal College, Miranda House, Ramjas College, etc., are some great options for BA courses, and the admissions are based on a merit system.
