Chandigarh University, Gharuan is a full-fledged university established by the Punjab State Legislature and is included in the list of universities maintained by University Grants Commission under Section 2 (f) with the right to confer degrees as per Section 22 (1) of the UGC Act, 1956. Yes, one will definitely get a UGC approved degree. The university has UGC norms that are applied here and moreover, the university gets NAAC A+ accreditation last year which adds an additional benefit.

If a private University does not comply to the UGC norms at the time of admission of the student, then the student will not get a UGC approved degree which may hamper the future prospects of the student. Hi,Chandigarh University provides the degree which is UGC approved for all the courses because the university complies with all the regulations enforced by the UGC and last year CU also got NAAC A+ accreditation provides all the more credence and relevance to all the courses offered here.
