Lovely Professional University is only private university in India which is recognized by ICAR (Indian council of agricultural research).
B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, M.Sc. Ag. (Genetics & Plant Breeding), M.Sc. Ag. (Agronomy) and M.Sc. Ag. Horticulture (Fruit Science) programmes are accredited to ICAR by the National Agricultural Education Board of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, an autonomous body responsible for co-ordinating agricultural education and research in India. It reports to the Department of Agricultural Research and Education, Ministry of Agriculture.

Yes, LPU is recognized by both ICAR and UGC.

LPU offered good placements this year across various departments like Engineering, Mangement, Architecture, Agriculture, Law and Computer Application, etc. More than 2225 companies visted the campus and offered more than 6000 jobs to the students of the batch 2025.
