OLD NIT with these credentials may not be possible, you can get some newer NITS which may not be in the same league. LPU is one of the best ones, its famous for its placements, more than 700 companies are regular recruiters from the campus every year. From Trident which offered 15 LPA to Emeryll to Forbes Marshall which offered 6 lacs of package, students get a whole lot of placement opportunities depending upon their domains and CGPA as well as their interests. Many students in Mechanical stream also opt for further studies for their career prospects in research and faculty positions. With the course outcomes like following; the stude

I would choose LPU which tends to change instruction through scholastic meticulousness; pragmatic direction and result based education.

In case, you don't get your desired college, don't settle for something mediocre. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if you try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech Civil. They have different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on the basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on the basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on the basis of clas

Yes, you can get admission in any of the NIT in these branches, as according to the CSAB 2015, it might be possible that there is huge number of registrations at that time and most of the seats got wasted after that, this time scenario has changed.
