Can I get any NIT for civil, mechanical or CS branch with 82 marks in Mains and 74% in class 12th CBSE board?

OLD NIT with these credentials may not be possible, you can get some newer NITS which may not be in the same league. Hello! With such scores you can look forward with New NITs and I would suggest you to explore more and not just stick towards NITs only. There are various other universities that offer engineering comparable to IITs and NITs. I have done my engineering from Lovely Professional University, I would suggest you to have a look over it. Frankly.I dont think so.In NIT.students having marks 150/200 above in JEE and 80% above in boards.

Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if you try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech Civil. They have different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on the basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on the basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on the basis of class 12th marks. Some of the universities also offer scholarships on basis of your performance in class 12th or JEE or their own tests.

No, you can't get admission in this college at this score as the minimum criteria is 75% marks in class 12th.

Yes, you can get admission in any of the NIT in these branches, as according to the CSAB 2015, it might be possible that there is huge number of registrations at that time and most of the seats got wasted after that, this time scenario has changed.
