The changes mean that CAT as an MBA entrance test, is evolving. It means that Iims still haven't reached an ideal test pattern and may keep experimenting with strategy. As for preparation strategy, aspirants shouldn't change anything. Focus on your strengths and weakness like you planned to. However, exam taking strategy will change. Candidates have to attempt each section for 60 minutes. There's no option of attempting your the strongest section first or last - it's all decided by CAT authorities. Non-MCQ questions are making an entrance this year.

The CAT 2022 pattern has undergone a few changes, and it is important to understand them to prepare well for the exam. The CAT 2022 exam is back to three sections, namely Quantitative Aptitude Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension. The total number of questions has been reduced from 76 to 66. The exam pattern for CAT 2022 is likely to remain the same as it was for CAT 2022. The VARC section has been rated as the toughest section, and the DILR section has been rated as the easiest section. Candidates must reach the exam center at the designated reporting time and carry a printout of their a

With the CAT exam back to three sections, it is important to understand the nature and scope of each section. The Quantitative Aptitude section will likely focus on mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills, the Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning section will test your ability to analyze and interpret data, and the Verbal and Reading Comprehension section will test your language and comprehension skills. You will need to manage your time carefully to ensure that you have enough time to complete each section. Make sure to practice time management strategies, such as setting time limits for each question or section. As alwa

The exam pattern has undergone a few significant alterations as a result of the CAT 2023 design adjustments. The exam has been condensed from three hours to just two, and there are now 50 instead of the previous 76 questions. You can interpret these modifications as follows:
Less time allotted: Because the exam will now only take two hours instead of three, you'll need to use your time more wisely. You should work on your accuracy and speed when answering questions. Less questions: With the number of questions decreased from 76 to 50, the emphasis will be placed more on testing your conceptual knowledge and problem-solving abilities tha

The following factors should be taken into account when analysing changes to the CAT pattern or any other competitive exam:
Keep informed: Stay informed with the most recent information from reliable sources, such as the official CAT website or the organisation in charge of overseeing the exam. The organisation in charge of administering the exam will typically disclose changes to the CAT pattern well in advance, so it's important to be aware of the updated pattern in order to avoid any surprises on exam day. Be aware of the rationale: Modifications to the CAT design are frequently made with a particular justification in mind. It can be

The CAT or Common Aptitude Test 2022 pattern changed due to COVID. Although the sectional and overall time limits were not changed, the number of sections and the number of questions per sections differed. It remains a computerized test. It's decided into 3 parts VARC DILR and Quant. You need the complete the whole test in 120 minutes or 2 hours and also individual sections has its own time limit. Use mock tests and previous years questions to be thorough with your practices.

The CAT 2022 pattern changes are significant, and it is important to understand them in order to prepare for the exam effectively. Here are some key changes and how they should be interpreted:
Introduction of a new section: The Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension VARC section has been split into two separate sections, with a new section called Reading Comprehension and Language Usage (RCLU) introduced. This change indicates that the importance of language skills in CAT has increased, and test-takers should focus on improving their reading comprehension and language usage skills. Hi
What is a good score in CAT. A: For Iims, nothing less than 97-98 percentile is good but for other top MBA colleges 90-95 percentile is good. A majority of CAT. Test takers fall in the category of 80-90 percentile and 100s of B-schools accept candidates having CAT. Score in this range. As per CAT. 2022 Analysis, the overall difficulty level of DILR section is moderate. Most of the questions are LR based. The candidates can expect a good score of 30-33 in this section. As per CAT. 2022 Slot 1 Exam Analysis, the overall difficulty level of QA is easy to moderate.07-Jan-2023
