The changes mean that CAT as an MBA entrance test, is evolving. It means that Iims still haven't reached an ideal test pattern and may keep experimenting with strategy.

He CAT question paper pattern is based on similar MBA entrance exams, having multiple choice questions (MCQs) to be solved within a particular time duration. Earlier, CAT exam used to be of 180 minutes with 100 questions but in 2020, both exam duration and number of questions were reduced due to COVID-19 pandemic. The number of questions was reduced to 76 and exam duration was reduced to 120 minutes. In 2021, CAT exam pattern was revised again with reduction of total questions to 66 but the exam duration was same. The CAT total marks was 198. CAT exam pattern is designed to gauge candidate's ability to solve mathematical and reasoning

Hi,
The changes mean that CAT as an MBA entrance test is evolving. It means that IIMs still haven't reached an ideal test pattern and may keep experimenting with strategy. As for preparation strategy, aspirants shouldn't change anything. Focus on your strengths and weakness like you planned to. However, exam taking strategy will change. Candidates have to attempt each section for 60 minutes. There's no option of attempting your the strongest section first or last - it's all decided by CAT authorities. Non-MCQ questions are making an entrance this year. IIMs haven't revealed any information about it. Irrespective of the difficulty level

One can Try solving questions based on comprehension, inferences, and para jumbles and you were good to go.

I'm a student who cleared CUET exams (UG) and now the results are out too. My doubt is regarding the UG admission processes of EFLU. I registered in the NTA site for my admission test for EFLU. Now the results are published but still no information about UG admission list for eligible candidates in EFLU 's site. Please consider my question.
