The CAT 2022 exam pattern changes are significant and will have an impact on how candidates should prepare for the exam. The new pattern is designed to be more student-friendly, reduce the duration of the exam, and allow for greater flexibility in test-taking. Here's a breakdown of the changes and what they mean for test-takers:
    1. Shorter Exam Duration: The CAT 2022 exam will be of a shorter duration, with 120 minutes for each section instead of 180 minutes. This change will allow for more focused and intensive testing, which could benefit students who struggle with maintaining concentration for long periods.

The changes mean that CAT as an MBA entrance test, is changing. It means that Iims still haven't reached an optimum exam schedule and may keep changing with strategy. As for preparation strategy, aspirants must not change anything. Always try yo concentrate on your strengths and weakness like you planned to.

The changes mean that CAT as an Master in business administration (MBA) entrance test, is evolving. It means that Iims still haven't reached an ideal test pattern and may keep experimenting with strategy. As for preparation strategy, aspirants shouldn't change anything. Focus also on your strengths and weakness like you planned to. However, exam taking strategy will change. Candidates have to attempt each section for 60 minutes. There's no option of attempting your the strongest section first or last - it's all decided by CAT authorities. Non-MCQ questions are making an entrance this year. Iims haven't revealed any information a

The paper pattern is expected to be the same. Only the number of questions will reduce. That means there will be RCs, Jumbled Para, Para Summary and Odd Man Out in Verbal but the number of questions will reduce. The number of question are likely to be
    22 Verbal, 20 DILR 22 Quant - 64 Questions
    or
    24 Verbal 22 DILR 24 Quant - 70 Questions
    instead of last years
    26 Verbal 24 DILR 26 Quant - 76 Questions
This will not make a change in preparation though strategy may have to be modified a bit. The reason for this change is because CAT usually had 100 Questions in 3 hours. In CAT 2020 the time was reduced to 2 hours. The number of questions shoul

Hi neha. !The format of the CAT question paper is similar to that of MBA entrance exams, with multiple choice questions (MCQs) that must be answered in a specific amount of time. In the past, the CAT exam took 180 minutes to complete and had 100 questions. However, in 2020, the COVID-19 epidemic caused both the exam's length and its number of questions to be shortened. There were just 76 questions on the exam, and it only took 120 minutes to complete. The CAT exam pattern was once again altered in 2021 with a drop in the number of questions to 66, although the exam time remained the same. Total scores on the CAT were 198. The CAT exam

As you know, In the last six years the marking scheme of CAT exam has also not changed. For every correct answer three marks are allotted and for every wrong answe -1 mark is deducted. There is no deduction of marks for TITA questions and questions left unattempted. Furthermore, Data Interpretation for CAT
*Prepare as per the latest trends on Data Interpretation questions in CAT. *Read the Best Data Interpretation Book. *Read and practice various types of Data Interpretation Questions and Answers. *One of the key CAT Data Interpretation tricks by experts is to go from LOD=1 to LOD=3.

The CAT 2022 pattern is likely to remain same as was for CAT 2022. Same number of 3 CAT exam slots
Same Time duration of 2 hours
CAT question paper to remain divided between MCQs and Non MCQs
Scoring pattern with +3 marks for each correct answer
Same Negative marking for MCQs with -1 for each wrong answer
    No Negative marking for Non-MCQ
Same number of 66 questions in CAT exam
No change in the CAT testing mode.
